Welcome to Grade 3!
I am so excited to be starting the 2021-2022 school year! I know there are many mixed feelings surrounding the start of school this year, but I am truly looking forward to seeing the students in person. I assure you that everyone at St. James is doing their best to keep your child safe while helping them learn. Students who attended school in-person last year will be familiar with many of our health and safety protocols, and we will be sure to review them at the beginning of the year. Grade 3 promises to be a year full of growth for your child as we focus on positive mindset, effective learning skills, and academic achievement.
This website will contain basic information about our class and how to access student activities from home.
Regular updates about what we will be learning in class or important information will be sent to parents by e-mail through School Messenger, so please ensure your contact information is up to date.
I look forward to being your partner in your child's education.
Sincerely,
Mrs. Shea

Home/School Communication
I believe communication between home and school is so important, especially during these times. I will be sending regular emails to parents to keep you up to date on what we are working on in class. Students will also have an agenda that they will be writing in daily. I check agendas each morning to see if there are any notes from home. I ask that you please check your child's agenda at the end of each day and initial it.
The best way for you to contact me is through e-mail ([email protected]) or send a note in with your child.
You can also follow our class on Twitter @sheagrade3 in order to see some of the day to day learning in our class.
